Botox

Botox injections block certain chemical signals from nerves to prevent the muscles from contracting. The most common use of these injections is to temporarily relax the facial muscles that cause wrinkles.

While we primarily focus on Botox for cosmetic purposes, we do offer Botox for some therapeutic purposes such as: TMJ (lock jaw, grinding and clenching) and Hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) in the underarm area. 

DOWNTIME

Botox for cosmetic purposes typically lasts 3-4 months. There may be slight redness at the injection site immediately after treatment but this will subside shortly.  You may apply makeup and resume normal activities after treatment.
